The M-9965 was one of Sanyo's midsize radios from 1981. It's very similar to the M9975, with the same BA532 amplifier chips.....but it's missing the tape type selector and the mic level knob. Also it doesn't have any Line inputs, but it does have Mic inputs that work perfectly fine with modern devices. All you need to do is connect your device and press Record/Play (but the inputs are very sensitive, so you will need to lower the output volume on your device). This model was offered in two versions: One with black grills, and another with silver grills and a blue tuner dial. And there's an M9965K model with shortwave bands. Like many Sanyos, this model has slots on top to accept Sanyo microphones, if you have any (they are rare and hard to find).
